About TOEFL

The Test of English as a Foreign Language(TOEFL) is a standardized English proficiency test for non-native English speakers. Conducted by the Educational Testing Service(ETS), TOEFL is widely accepted by English speaking academic and professional institutions. TOEFL tests a candidate on four basic language skills: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing.

About TOEFL Exam

  • The overall test time for TOEFL is 2 hours (approximately).
  • The Listening and Reading sections comprise of objective questions, while the Speaking section has 4 tasks and the Writing section has 2 tasks.
  • Overall the score for each section is scaled on a range from 0 to 30. The total TOEFL score is 120.
